ISHS is involved

AYUSH especially
on evidence
based Ayurveda
for over 20
years. It remains
one of the leading
centers known
for high quality
pioneering research
in AYUSH. Recognizing
these contributions,
the Ministry
of AYUSH, Govt.
of India has
awarded Center
of Excellence
(CoE) status
with a grant
for a period
of 3 years.
AYUSH CoE project
is aimed at
human resource
development,
research capacity
building and
to demonstrate
AYUSH strengths
for management
of non-communicable
diseases by
developing national
and international
networks and
research collaborations.
The AYUSH CoE
project has
four major areas
of work as follows:

of research
institutes
working
in AYUSH
domain

Collaborative
research
project
on ‘Preclinical
study on
development
of therapeutic
adjuvants
based on
Ayurveda’
for Cancer
and Rheumatoid
Arthritis

Capacity
building
through
research,
fellowship
programs,
and credit
courses
along with
development
of e-learning
modules

Critical
analysis
of protocols,
policies
and guidelines
