Admissions
The academic programmes are conducted as two year, full time courses, divided into four Semesters. Admission is through the Common Entrance Test of the University of Pune. The application process usually initiates in April-May each year. Semester I begins from July each year. One hundred credits are needed to acquire the Master's degree. One credit is equivalent to 15 hours of study. Evaluation is done through continuous assessment and through semester end examination.
Eligibility
Master of Public Health :
The course is open to students with an undergraduate degree in biological, clinical and social sciences including B.Sc. (life sciences, nursing, pharmacology, nutrition), B.A. (Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology) LL.B, Degree in any branch of Medicine or Pharmacy from any statutory University or recognized as equivalent there to by the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
M Sc. Health Sciences :
B.Sc. any subject including life sciences, nursing, Degree in any branch of Medicine or Pharmacy from any statutory University or recognized as equivalent there to by the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Intake for each academic year is as follows:
M.Sc. (Health Sciences): 10 + 2 international students (full time study programme)
MPH: 10 + 2 international students (full time study programme)
PhD courses
Admission to the PhD programme is through a PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University. Admissions are open after PET announcement. Please contact the school office for further details.
