M.Sc.
Students are admitted to the M.Sc. course on the basis of (a) marks obtained during their BSc courses in Botany or Biotechnology (b) performance in Entrance test conducted by the Department.

The advertisement seeking applications for the M.Sc. course is made available on the University website and the entrance test is conducted during June each year.

Admissions of students from other countries are routed through the International Student Cell.

M.Phil
Admission for the M.Phil. course are through an Entrance Examination.

Ph.D
Admissions for the Ph.D. course are on the basis of an eligibility test (PET) conducted by the University. Students who qualify any of the National or State level Eligibility tests (NET, SET, GATE) or who have an M.Phil degree are exempt from PET.
