M. A. credit &
semester system
Since 2000, the department has shifted to the Credit and Semester system.
This gives the students flexibility to opt for courses from outside the
department. The Credit system encourages students to attend classes
regularly and engage in serious pursuit of the MA degree with updated
courses offered by the department.
