LIBRARY

For the students and research scholars the Department offers the following facilities:

Departmental Library:

The Department has its own library. The library has around 13,000 books. The library also has several national and international Journals related to various areas of Philosophy. Besides its collection of classics as well as contemporary Philosophical books, the library also has a lot of books on other subjects like Economics, Education, Sociology and Ayurveda. The library has been computerized and the database of the whole collection is now available.

Computer Laboratory

Under the infrastructure strengthening program the Department has set up a Computer Laboratory with internet facilities for students.

Wi-Fi Facility

The Department is well equipped with 24 hours free Wi-Fi facility available for students.

Prof. S.S. Barlingay Reading Hall

For comfortable reading the Department provides all students a spacious reading hall which is named after eminent Indian philosopher, the late Professor S. S. Barlingay.

Conference Hall

The Department also has a conference hall with LCD projector for organizing various academic events.

Class Rooms

The department has two class rooms with LCD projectors.

Well Equipped Office

The department has an office equipped with computers, scanner and Xerox machine etc.
