Inclusive Universities: Linking Diversity, Equity and Excellence for the 21st Century is three year collaboration between the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (UMASS). It involves conducting research on diverse student needs and campus climate, and developing institutional tools to respond to it and create a more inclusive campus climate that values diversity and pluralism. This project entails collaborative research, writing and publishing, faculty exchanges, training and capacity building. It is conducted at the SPPU and the Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women’s Studies Centre at the SPPU is coordinating this project.

Once the research tools are designed and tested at Savitribai Phule Pune University, we welcome interest from other universities in the country to use the survey tools and organize trainings on their campuses.
