Schedule of Post Graduate / Interdisciplinary Courses (Online Entrance Exam) For Academic Year 2023-2024
- Start of filling online Application: 20th April, 2024
- Last date of filling Online Application : 10th May, 2024 (11.59 pm)
- Tentative Schedule of OEE Post Graduate Programmes : 14/06/2024 to 16/06/2024
- Duration of the Online Entrance Exam: 2 Hour (Inclusive of both the sections)
- Publication of marks on the University Website: will be notified on SPPU website

Admission procedure for M.A / M.Sc.
Every year the department admits 50 students for M.A./M. Sc. course on the basis of the performance of the applicants in entrance test and performance at the B.A./B Sc. Examination (with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination). For other than Pune university students, the admission is made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test only. Entrance test is usually held in the month of June.
Admission procedure for P.G. Diploma in GIS and Remote Sensing
Every year the department admits 30 students for P.G. Diploma in GIS and Remote Sensing course. Students having obtained B.Sc. degree in any subject viz., B.Sc., B. Agri. B.A. (in mathematics / statistics), B. E., B. Tech., B. Arch., B. A. (in Geography with mathematics /statistics as one of the subsidiary subjects), M.A. (in Geography), Bachelor’s degree in computer science /applications/ management (with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination) are eligible to apply to the P.G. Diploma in GIS & RS course. Admission is made through entrance test. Entrance test is usually held in the month of June.
