The Department of Sanskrit and Prakrit Languages offers following courses

• Master of Arts( Sanskrit / Prakrit )
  Duration: 2 years full time course.
  Eligibility: Graduates from any streams with sound knowledge of Sanskrit .
  Fees :  Rs. 2187/- only (per year).
  No of Seats :  60.
   

• Master of Philosophy ( M.Phil.)
  Duration: 2 years.
  Eligibility: M.A. in Sanskrit/Prakrit.with 50% and above
  Fees :  Rs. 3352/- only (per year) .
  No of Seats :  60.
  The department also offers Certificate & Diploma level course in Sanskrit and Prakrit
   

• Certificate course in Sanskrit,Prakrit
  Duration :- One year.
  Eligibility : Anybody who has passed X std. examination
  Fees : Rs. 3770 /- only.
  No of Seats : 40.
   

• Lower (Jr.) diploma in Sanskrit,Prakrit
  Duration :- One year.
  Eligibility :-
  Any person who has passed out XIIth standard examination or any other equivalent examination with Sanskrit/Prakrit as one of the subjects.
  OR
  Passed Certificate course in Sanskrit/Prakrit.
  Fees : Rs. 4420/- only.
  No of Seats : 40.
   

• Higher (Sr.) diploma in Sanskrit/ Prakrit
  Duration :- Three years.
  Eligibility :-
  Any person who has passed Lower diploma in the respective languages
  OR
  Passed XIIth / Xth stadard examination with Sanskrit/Prakrit as one of the subjects.
  OR
  Any other equivalent examination in Sanskrit/Prakrit as one of the subjects.
  Fees : Rs. 4420 /- only (per year)
  No of Seats : 40.
