Dhananjay Bhole Profile
Dhananjay Bhole is the Coordinator of the Centre for Inclusive Education and Accessibility, Savitribai Phule Pune University and a web accessibility consultant for several corporate and Government organizations. He initiated an assistive technology training program, accessibility research program, accessibility outreach and sensitization program, a placement cell, Developed research facilities, and advanced assistive technology lab in the Centre. He is an accessibility evangelist; IAAP certified accessibility professional, Delivered over 150 talks and organized several professional workshops on Digital accessibility. He is recipient of National Role Model Award from Government of India, IBM persons with disabilities Award from W3C, Universal Design Award from Consortium of NGOs and Industries working for persons with disabilities, Rotary Vocational Award, Helen Kellar Award ETC. Dhananjay has done B.Sc. Botany, MBA-HRfrom North Maharashtra University, M.Sc. Bioinformatics and is pursuing his Ph.D. in academic accessibility from Pune University. He has authored 12 research papers in the area of digital accessibility and contributed chapters in 2 professional books. He is the co-founder and Non Executive Director of Sugamya Digital Solutions; an access consulting company that provides end to end accessibility solutions.
