Seminar on "Armed Forces and Nation Building" (17th January 2006)

On 17th January 2006 a one day seminar on "Armed Forces and Nation Building" was organized by NISDA and the Southern Army Command, Pune. The Seminar was held at the Southern Command Headquarters. On this occasion Eminent scholars presented their papers examining the sociological, political and military perspectives on the role of the Armed Forces. Lt. Gen. B. S. Takhar (GOC-in-C Southern Command) himself presented his thoughts on the subject. The panel of Speakers comprised of:
