The PUCSD Placement Cell actively works to bridge the gap between academic training and industry requirements. The cell organises pre-placement training, company interaction sessions, mock interviews, and campus recruitment drives throughout the year.
Pune's position as a major IT hub gives PUCSD students a natural advantage — with hundreds of technology companies including MNCs, mid-sized IT firms, and fast-growing startups all within reach. The Placement Cell has established strong relationships with key recruiters who return to campus year after year.
Aptitude Training
Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability sessions conducted throughout the year by the Placement Cell.
Coding Practice
Regular competitive programming workshops, LeetCode/HackerRank practice sessions, and mock coding contests.
Mock Interviews
One-on-one mock technical and HR interviews conducted by alumni and industry professionals to prepare students for actual interviews.
Resume Building
Resume writing workshops, portfolio review sessions, and LinkedIn profile optimisation guided by placement coordinators.
Soft Skills
Communication skills, group discussion practice, and professional etiquette workshops to prepare students for corporate environments.
Industry Visits
Organised visits to leading IT companies in Pune to help students understand workplace environments and industry expectations.
