In the year 1994-95, with the financial support of the University Grants Commission, the University of Pune launched the program of Vocationalization of education at the First-degree level-Bachelors programs in Arts, Science and Commerce. These hands-on courses train the students in specific professional skills and improve their employability; and encourage their entrepreneurial endeavors.
