Eligibility & Intake

Candidates fulfilling any one of the following criteria are eligible for the M Design course:

Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/Interior design/Technology
Professional Diplomain Design: 10+2+4 years
BFA (after 10+2)
GD Art (4 year program after 1 year foundation. Minimum entry requirement 10th pass)

The admission is given on the basis of marks obtained by the students in the Online Entrance Examination (OEE) for the course.

The course admits 20 students per batch.

Entrance Examination

The admission for the course is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Online Entrance Examination (OEE) which is based on multiple choice questions (MCQ). The exam comprises two sections. Total Marks 100 (subject oriented: 80 Marks and GK and aptitude: 20) with negative marking.

The Online Entrance Exam for the course is generally conducted in June or July. The exact schedule and other rules & regulations of the examination are announced on the admission portal of the University.

Fee Structure

The total fees for the Master of Design course is Rs.1,00,750/- (Rs. One lakh seven hundred and fifty only) per year for candidates belonging to open category from Maharashtra.

Fees for SC/ST, OBC and other reserved category students from Maharashtra is charged as per the rules stipulated by the state government.

Total fee per year for students outside Maharashtra and students from SAARC countries is Rs. 1,96, 950/- (Rs. Rs. One lakh ninety six thousand nine hundred and fifty only) and Rs. 1,95,900 (Rs. One lakh ninety five thousand and nine hundred only). For foreign students it is Rs. 2,91,600/- (Rs. Two lakh ninety one thousand and six hundred only).
