    At present working as a JRF on DAE-BRNS funded research project entitled "Isolation and characterization of salt inducible proteins and introduction of P5CS gene in local (Maharashtra) cultivars of rice (Oryza sativa L.)" under the guidance of Dr. M. G. Shitole, Professor and Head, Department of Botany, University of Pune.

    Worked on a DBT-NBDB Project entitled "A digitized inventory of Plant resources part B: Other Economically important species- Fuel wood and Biomass" in the Department of Botany, University of Pune, Pune, under the supervision of Dr. A. F. Mascarenhas, (PI), former Head, Plant Tissue Culture division, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune and Dr. G. S. Chinchanikar (Co-I), Reader, Department of Botany, University of Pune, during June- November 2003.

    Worked as a research trainee in Plant Molecular Biology Division, Biochemical Sciences Division, National Chemical Laboratory, under the guidance of Dr. Vidya S. Gupta, Scientist-F, NCL, under the UGC-DRS-SAP Program of Department of Botany, University of Pune, Pune, for two months in 2004.

    Worked on Tissue culture studies of Some Medicinal Plants from Western Ghats: Established a protocol for callus culture, organogenesis (shoots and roots formation), multiple shoot formation, regeneration of plantlets through callus and hardening of the plantlets, under the guidance of Prof. M. G. Shitole, Head, Department of Botany, University of Pune, from August 2002 to July 2004.

    Worked as a Research trainee in the Mahatma Phule Agricultural University, Rahuri, Ahmed Nagar, for learning Techniques related with fungal Biofertilisers viz. VAM and AM fungi, with Dr. Sawant, Dean, PG College, Mahatma Phule Agricultural University. Rahuri, under the UGC-SAP-DRS programme of the Department of Botany, University of Pune, during January- February 2003.

    A Poster presented entitled "Biodiversity and its Importance with special reference to genetic diversity and its evaluation by molecular methods" at the National Seminar on "Assessment, Conservation and Utilization of Biodiversity" held on 26th - 27th March 2004, at Dept. of Botany, University of Pune, Pune.
